Why not celebrate the birth of American in one of the finest locations in the United States?
Every city and town has their special celebrations, but Vail America Days can outdo them all. The celebration starts with a red, white, and blue parade that starts in Golden Peak at 10am, winds through Vail Village and ends in Lionshead at approximately noon. That is followed by entertainment in Vail Village and Lionshead from Noon to 3pm and a patriotic concert at 2pm at the Ford Amphitheater. Top the celebration off by viewing the fabulous Vail America Days fireworks which take place at Golden Peak at approximately 9:45pm (weather permitting).
Friday, July 3rd
Street Entertainment - Vail Village Slifer Square 3-7pm
Inner City Educational Foundation and Washington Prep Jazz & Marching Band - Mountain Plaza in Vail Village at 4pm
Friday Afternoon Club atop Vail Mountain - Free live music, CHIF (Cowboy, Hillbilly, Hippy, Folk Music) will play. Gondola rides free 4-9pm
Family Friday Afternoon Club - Lionshead 5-8pm
Bravo! Dallas Symphony Orchestra - Ford Amphitheater 6pm
Saturday, July 4th
Red, White & Blue Parade - Golden Peak to Lionshead starting at 10am
Street Entertainment - Lionshead, Vail Village and Mountain Plaza from 1pm to 5pm
