Nature Center
The Vail Nature Center is nestled along the banks of Gore Creek in the heart of Vail. The seven acres of forest, meadow and stream are a delightful and peaceful place known by many locals and visitors as their favorite place in Vail. The Nature Center offers a wide variety of educational and fun programs, both at the Nature Center and out in the wild mountain country that surrounds it.

Betty Ford Alpine Gardens
Named for local resident and former first lady Betty Ford, the Gardens are the highest public botanical gardens in the world, and include a unique living collection of alpine, sub-alpine and other mountain plants and flowers. Open through September 6 daily with free public tours, gift shop and children's programs.
