Adventure Ridge and Gondola |

Enjoy a breathtaking gondola ride to Vail Mountain's Adventure Ridge where you’ll view magnificent peaks, enjoy some rounds of disc golf and take your kids on a hunt for buried bones at the Dino Dig. For the real adrenaline addicts, try downhill mountain biking followed by a cold beer and a sunset at Talon's Deck.

(*Bikes are not allowed on the gondola after 4 p.m.)

Adventure Ridge Activities
Horseback Trail Rides - NEW THIS SUMMER!
Adventure Ridge now offers scenic horseback trail rides through Game Creek Bowl. The 40-minute trail rides begin at the Eagle's Nest corral starting at 10:30am for adults and children, ages 7 and up. Price is $50 for season pass holders, $60 for non-pass holders (price includes lift ticket), or $70 which includes a lift ticket and $15 lunch voucher valid at Bistro Fourteen or Talons Deck. Reservations are available and recommended, call (970) SKI-VAIL.
Horseback Trail Ride/Game Creek Dinner - NEW THIS SUMMER!
For only $89 ($69 for children, ages 7 - 12), guests can partake in a horseback ride and four-course "Wrangler" dinner at Game Creek. Gondola rides are FREE after 4pm! Reservations are available and recommended, call (970) SKI-VAIL
Pony Rides - NEW THIS SUMMER!
For children ages 2 - 6, pony rides are available for $10. For only $25 kids can enjoy a pony ride and their choice of two other activities, including rebound trampoline, climbing wall or disc golf rental. Reservations are not available for this activity.
Climbing Wall - NEW THIS SUMMER!
Try out the climbing wall at the top of Vail Mountain! Weight limit does apply. $10 per 3 climbing attempts
Rebound Trampoline
Try out our bouncing bungee harnessed trampoline at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola. $10 per session
Guided Nature Hikes
Take off on a guided nature hike on Vail Mountain and learn about area flora and fauna. One hour hikes leave at 11a.m. & 2p.m. from the Discovery Center. For more information call 970-SKI-VAIL.
Dino Dig
Ages 4 years and up dig through sand to uncover dinosaur bones and learn about prehistoric creatures through an educational display. Digging tools and a map are provided.
Lawn Sports - Disc Golf, Volleyball, Bocce, Washers, Corn-hole
Ride the Eagle Bahn® Gondola to the top for an afternoon of fun. Play 18 holes on our regulation disc golf course (Disc rental for Frisbee Golf: $8). The front nine holes are beginner and the back nine holes are intermediate/advanced. Or try your hand at the FREE washers, corn-hole, bocce ball, volleyball and more!
Discovery Center
Located at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, the Discovery Center introduces you to the environment through fun, interactive displays and guided nature hikes. Open daily 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. For more information call 970-754-4675.
